Everyday comfort
Raise selected bedroom shades at a scheduled time. Keep other rooms private until you are ready to use them.
Group the shades on a sunny side of the house. Choose positions that make a desk or television more comfortable to use.
Lower living-room shades together and recall a compatible lighting scene. Keep a wall control or remote within easy reach.

A motor, a hub and an app do different jobs. The right combination depends on the treatment, its power source and the equipment already in your home.
Bring the names and model numbers of existing hubs, motors, keypads and control systems. Compatibility must be checked at the product level.
Selected Automate motors work with a Pulse PRO hub for app control and schedules. Supported connections include Matter platforms and professional systems such as Control4 and Crestron. The hub, motor and integration must be matched. See Automate compatibility →
TaHoma switch supports selected Somfy RTS and Zigbee products. Apple Home support applies to compatible Zigbee products; an RTS motor should not be assumed to work with Apple Home. See Somfy compatibility →

These whole-home platforms can bring compatible lighting, shading, climate and entertainment into one interface. Share your existing integrator’s plan so motor selection, drivers, programming responsibility and any subscription features can be reviewed. Brand mentions describe planning options, not dealer credentials.
A wireless control signal does not always mean battery power. Decide how each motor will receive power and how you will reach it later.

Rechargeable or battery-powered options may avoid opening finished walls. Check charging access, mounting depth, treatment size and expected use before choosing a motor.
Coordinate wiring, outlets, power supplies and shade pockets before finishes close. Confirm responsibility for electrical work and leave access for service.
Use products rated for the location. Wind sensors and automation do not make an awning stormproof; follow the selected manufacturer’s operating limits.
Confirm who owns the app account, what works without internet, how local controls behave during outages and who supports later programming changes.
Sometimes. Tube size, brackets, fabric weight, headrail design and the condition of the treatment determine whether a motor can be added. Photos and an onsite review help establish whether retrofit or replacement makes sense.
No. A shared app requires compatible motors, hubs, drivers and control systems. We review the exact equipment before promising a connection.
Yes. Identify your future plans at the first consultation so the chosen motor and control approach can support expansion where available.
Lutron dealer onboarding is underway. We are collecting project inquiries; product supply, installation and programming availability must be confirmed before a proposal is finalized.
In the consultation form’s Additional Notes, include your rooms, treatment preferences, existing control system and whether the project is a remodel or an existing home. We will confirm the next step and available scope.
